Under the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994 (Amendment 2022), Section 29A mandates the appointment of a trained OSH Coordinator in workplaces with 5–100 employees.
Non-compliance may result in penalties up to RM50,000 or imprisonment up to 6 months.
