Registered Occupational Health Doctor (OHD) with DOSH
Medical Specialist
Public Health Medical Specialist in the field of Occupational Health
Nurse
Occupational Health Nurse certified by NIOSH OHN or equivalent
Occupational Health Technician
Occupational Health Technician trained in KKP, Spirometry, and Audiometry - NIOSH graduate or equivalent
Occupational Health Practitioner
OH Practitioner registered with DOSH or equivalent and approved by the Association's Committee
Membership
Malaysian Occupational Health Practitioners Association (MOHPA)


1. Honorary Member
Conferred upon individuals who have made significant contributions to society and can contribute to the growth of the Association. • Honorary Members are nominated and approved by the Committee. • They are exempted from paying membership fees.
2. Honorary Member
Open to Malaysian citizens aged 21 years and above who: • Hold recognized competency in Occupational Health, or • Have a strong interest in Occupational Health, its applications, and research; and are working or residing in Malaysia. Ordinary Members are entitled to vote and hold office in the Committee.
3. Lifetime Member
Available to Ordinary Members who opt to make a one-time payment for Lifetime Membership fees.
4. International Member
Open to non-Malaysian citizens aged 21 years and above who: • Have a keen interest in Occupational Health, its applications, and research, and • Possess recognized expertise or professional standing in Occupational Safety and Health in their home country, whether working or residing in Malaysia or abroad. International Members are not eligible to vote or hold office in the Committee.
Membership Application Process
Step 1
All membership applications must be proposed and seconded by an existing member, and submitted to the Secretary for consideration.
Step 2
The Committee reserves the right to approve or reject any application without stating reasons.
Step 3
Approved applicants will be officially admitted as members upon payment of the entrance fee and first subscription as prescribed.
